The market for MIM components is developing all the time:
it is continuing to grow as companies worldwide explore new
sectors. At the same time, designers are becoming increasingly
aware of the opportunities (and, of course, the limitations)
offered by MIM and this contributes to an increase in the
global turnover. Very large companies have in-house departments
which manufacture components for their finished products,
but there are also many companies which use suppliers or sub-suppliers.
In the year 2000 total sales amounted to about 700 million
Euros and a growth of 12% - 20% per year is expected over
the next 5 years. Even in the most conservative estimate,
the total turnover should exceed 2 billion Euros by 2010.
